Desitdown Kids is built on a simple belief: the next generation of African champions is already out here in classrooms, in backyards, in gyms, and on playgrounds across the continent. Our job is to reach them early, inspire them deeply, and give them a space where sport, news, and creativity come together in a way that speaks directly to young Africans.

This is asafe, age-appropriate, and family friendly section of the Desitdown platform, designed for children and young people aged 6 to 16. Every piece of content whether it is an animated explainer about how MMA scoring works, a short documentary about a young Nigerian boxer, or a quiz about Africa’s greatest sports moments is created with young minds in mind. Engaging. Positive. Educational. African.

We spotlight young athletes across Africa who are defying the odds and building careers in sport. Their stories are not just feel-good content they are proof that pathways exist, that hard work is rewarded, and that Africa produces world-class talent at every age level.
